Verse of the Week 15 – The Fasting Season #5

In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

"Believers, fasting is decreed for you as it was decreed for those before you; perchance you will be cautious".

God, the Most High, the Most Great, has spoken the truth.

Surah Al-Baqarah: 183

• Fasting gives it a period of rest.
• Rest helps the body regain balance.

The Brain and Focus

→ The child understands that fasting is not weakness, but training in inner strength.

3- The Greatness of God in Mentioning Fasting 1400 Years Ago

• For the child to reflect: how was fasting mentioned in the Qur’an before laboratory devices and modern medical research existed?
• To realize that God, the All-Knowing and All-Aware, knows what benefits humanity at all times.
• To feel proud that their faith calls them to what benefits both this world and the Hereafter.
